The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment or UKIE, today released best selling video game charts for 2011 and the top games on the list are not surprising in the least. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 tops the All Formats list followed by FIFA 12 and then Battlefield 3 to round out the top 3 even though each of these three games were only available for the last 2-3 months of the year. What is a little more surprising is the fact that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 didn’t make it into the top 5 selling PC games. As the Brits are crazy for football (aka soccer) the Football Manager games from each of the past two years tops the PC sales charts followed by The Elder Scrolls V, The Sims 3 and Battlefield 3.
